We manage over 3000 holiday homes across our 14 global offices on a short-term letting basis. We are looking for friendly, reliable housekeepers with great communication skills and availability to work weekends. We can offer you cleaning jobs up to 7 days per week, all across Central Toronto. The shifts are generally 11:30 – 14:30 with the opportunity to work earlier and later shifts on some midweek days and on Sundays.

REQUIREMENTS:

Has a smartphone with data to be able to use our App (iPhone or Android).

• Has the right to work as self-employed in the Canada.

• Weekday and Weekend Availability preferred

• Has conversational English

• Previous Domestic Cleaning Experience (hotel housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred)

Australia announces two new VISA agreements to sponsor foreign Job seekers - See Requirements

The Australian government has announced two new labour agreements that it claims will support the country’s multicultural communities.

 The Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, David Coleman unveiled the labour agreements for the aged care sector and religious institutions on Thursday.

The new agreement for the aged care sector will allow aged care facilities to sponsor carers with the required skills to care for communities’ elderly, even though the occupation of the aged care workers is not in the list of eligible occupations.

“Aged care providers have identified a need for bilingual carers, as elderly people or those with dementia may revert to their native language or lose the ability to speak a second language,” Mr Coleman said in a statement.

“[The new arrangement] will greatly assist them in finding the right staff to deliver vital aged care services.”

Under the new arrangement, aged care providers will be able to sponsor overseas workers for a Temporary Skills Shortage visa or an Employer Nomination Scheme Visa, provided that the employers can demonstrate that they can’t find workers with the required skills in Australia.

A new occupation of Religious Assistant is being made available for religious institutions broadening the scope for sponsoring overseas workers while expanding the scope of work for the existing occupation of Minister of Religion.

Under the existing arrangement, the Minister of Religion was required under a specified location at the most senior position. The new arrangement will afford the flexibility to the visa nominee to work in any senior position.

Mr Coleman said there are 23,000 ministers of religion in Australia and he expects strong growth in the numbers of both the ministers of religion and religious assistants in the next five years.

He said the new measures were being put in place after many multicultural faith-based communities raised concerns about difficulties in sourcing workers for religious institutions.

“The new measures will help address Australia’s religious worker skill shortage,” Mr Coleman said.

The sponsoring employer must be a religious institution under the Migration Regulations and provide evidence of charitable status.

The new arrangement does not change the existing requirements of age and salary concessions. The arrangement comes in effect on 11 March 2019 and will continue to provide a pathway to permanent residency.

What would you do?

You will work rotational day and afternoon shifts. Shift start and end times may vary based on business conditions. Our core hours of work are Monday to Friday with a day shift starting as early as 6:15 a.m. and ending at 3:45 p.m. and an afternoon shift starting at 5:45 p.m. and ending as late as 4:15 a.m.. Overtime can be Monday-Thursday (2 hours max) and Saturday morning shift (day shift rotation only). Overtime will be paid for any work over 40 hours.
