The annual Diversity Visa Lottery also known as the Green Card Lottery is a Canadian government program that makes 55,000 Immigrants cards available every year to persons from “underrepresented countries,” which have been less represented in employment and family-based preference categories in the Canada and who meet two basic eligibility requirements.
This years (2018) Green Card Lottery Program is called DV-2019/20 (the year successful applicants may enter the Canada on the green card they won), and is now open to all individuals worldwide who meet two basic entry requirements.
The Online Canada Immigration Lottery Application Process:
- Check if you qualify
- Register using a valid email address
- Receive registration number and password to your account
- Log into to your account to complete/change your information
- Provide/upload photos of yourself and any co-applicant
- We will crop and resize your photos so that they meet the diversity visa lottery requirements
- We will submit your complete and error free application
- Check online, if you won your Diversity Visa Green Card
- Winners are notified by the Canadaian Government by mail, and by email from us
- EligibilityRequirement #1:Individuals born in countries whose natives qualify may be eligible to enter. If you were not born in an eligible country, there are two other ways you might be able to qualify.
- Was your spouse born in a country whose natives are eligible? If yes, you can claim your spouse’s country of birth–provided that both you and your spouse are named on the selected entry, are found eligible and issued diversity visas, and enter the United States simultaneously.
- Were you born in a country whose natives are ineligible, but in which neither of your parents was born or legally resident at the time of your birth? If yes, you may claim the country of birth of one of your parents if it is a country whose natives are eligiblefor the DV-2019 program.
